Local Crime Update & A Reminder About Doors & WIndows

Local Crime Update:

Ruby makes a great point with her reminder to make sure your doors and windows are securly locked.

Did you know most homes have locks and windows that are realtively easy to break through?

Solid wood exterior doors are best and deterring burglars.

If you have a door that has lots of glass, consider replacing with unbreakable plastic.

A chain is as good as it's weakest link, so consider strengthening the casings around your exterior doors and the hinges that attach the door to the casing.

Remember side and back doors that are less visible are often more likely to be a point of entrance for a theif.
